In a different world

I love Mexico. It's like traveling to a dimension where the temperature never gets down to 17° (like it is now) and there are COLORS everywhere. I'm kind of a hand-drawn typography nerd, so I love the the hand painted signs that are all over the buildings and walls. Most quick signs are a very classic handwriting style italic (think brush script) but then they get all fancy with the outlines, shadows and bright, primary colors.

So below, I leave you with some eye candy and warm weather while I get used to the below freezing temps back here.

Enjoy!

I love these, and there are a lot more on the flickr page.

I know they don't exactly have too much to do with locks or spoons, but they are a beautiful source of inspiration. We'll be back with some more new things soon!
